About US

We are 2 friends that have known each other for more than 35 years.

We've been multi-species fishing for about 25 years and obsessively doing so for the last five (5). Our main goal is to make you discover some of Quebec's great fisheries and turn you into a fishing junkie.

You will sometimes hear us talking about fishing gear and even though some names may be heard more than others WE ARE NOT SPONSORED BY ANY BRAND, FISHING STORE or SHOP AND EVERY SINGLE ITEM WE USE HAS BEEN BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY OUR WEEKLY EFFORTS (DAY JOB) and we will be more than glad to provide you with a receipt that shows how much we paid for every single item we purchased. The day that will no longer be the case we will make sure we are transparent about it and we will let you know who sent the product to us by mentioning it before hand.

Our bread and butter

Gold Medal Williams C-90 Orange (5th season in a row) This amazing spoon has filled our boat on numerous occasions, from a record drum, to an amazing bowfin, with sometimes catching pikes that only double the spoon in size to an impressive 40" season best, it has also served us to put some smallmouth bass into our boat as well. To make a long story short, not many fish can resist such a spoon.

Silver medal : My Shimano Metanium HG (Left), even though I felt in love with my Shimano SLX DC (151) thank you Digital Control technology, this reel (although somehow expensive) has an excellent bang for the buck value, it allows you to cast bombs no matter the size of the tackle you use. If I only had to take with me ONE reel, this would be it, I will even start using it for Bait Finesse Fishing (BFS) this season.

Bronze medal : this little Live Target that mimics a "Bluegill" (at 1399 can$ + our friend call tax) saved our day on a Musky fishing trip to Deux-Montagnes Lake in what could have become the FIRST TIME we came home empty handed (it was our 2nd Musky outing ever, our 1st one was with an excellent guide, Thank you Jacques Vadeboncoeur!), actually Daniel had one bite but we lost it a few feet away from the boat as it jumped out of the water. The "Bucktail" purchased the previous day (on the upper part of the image nest to the crankbait) went for about 32,99 can$ (+ our friend called tax) and has not been bitten yet.

Honor mention: My iPhone Xs (almost every single picture or video on the site has been taken with my iPhone Xs, so stop telling me to get an iPhone 14 Pro Max) and my 13 Fishing Concept C2: 22lbs. of drag, casts like a rocket launcher, and was bought for 19999can$ (instead of the regular price of 34999can$).

The fast shooter

Ok, Ok, Ok...this has nothing to do with what you had in mind. STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!!!!

Let me explain what this is all about: It's a little contest where the goal is to see who gets the fastest fish on the boat from the second we leave the dock, we usuallt have a countdown (3,2,1....0)  and once we reach zero we start a chronograph to see how long it takes to get one on the boat. Last year (2022), Daniel won the competition with approximately 3:00 minutes.

This season everything should be recorded with our new GoPro 10 as well as with a picture that we'll take from when we leave the dock, we start the chronograph and the minute the fish is broght to the boat. Here is an example from last season:
